Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

We have all struggled with the pandemic and the impact on our mental health over the past year. Some of our underlying worries and concerns about life have been accelerated. Many people have been separated from loved ones and the usual ways people cared for their mental health, such as exercising and spending time with friends and family, have not been available.

It’s important to remember that everyone at certain points in life will experience some kind of mental health challenge, both young and old can unexpectedly find themselves experiencing these problems.

Regularly spending time in nature can be very beneficial to our mental health. It gives the opportunity for reflection and to give time to ourselves. It also brings the opportunity to spend more time with God, to experience his creation and his presence and peace in our lives.
