  • North Hampshire Downs - Informal Services

    We launched a new Informal Service at All Saints Church in Odiham, a rural parish in Hampshire, in mid-2014. From the outset this has been a regular weekly service at 11.15am every Sunday morning, with the objective of offering a more informal style of worship than our existing 9.45am Parish Communion and the 8am BCP Communion weekly services.   • Saint Mary’s Southampton Resource Church

    Over 400 people packed into Saint Mary's Southampton to see the revitalisation of this historic church, which has been a site of worship since AD 634. Jon and Hannah Finch, who are leading the revitalisation, were supported by the Bishop of Southampton and church leaders across the city and Diocese of Winchester to celebrate this new city centre resource church in the heart of Southampton.   • Diocese of Winchester secures over £4 million to reach the ‘missing generations’

    The Diocese of Winchester has today launched Winchester Mission Action, its ambitious plan to engage with the ‘missing generations’ of young people across Hampshire and East Dorset. It has secured a grant of £4.23 million from the national Church of England’s Strategic Investment Board, and will match this funding with the Diocese’s own investment of over £4 million. Read more
