Easter in the Anglican Communion – messages from our Companion Link Provinces

    5 April 2021

Myanmar – The Most Reverend Stephen Than, Archbishop of Myanmar

As we are celebrating Easter at home this time, we send our prayerful greetings to each and every one of you. Myanmar is facing many challenges such as the pandemic, political crisis and civil war. God is still sovereign and in control of the many injustices in our nations. His timing for everything, including resurrection hope is perfect.

At this difficult time, we cling to the belief that the Risen Christ breathes on us and chooses us to proclaim love and forgiveness, so that we may all live together in peace, hope and harmony, sharing in his Spirit of love.

May the power of the resurrection rest upon you and grant genuine peace and freedom.

Burundi – The Most Reverend Martin Blaise Nyaboho, Archbishop of Burundi
