Jigsaw puzzles brought the people from church and town together to help the local Fordingbridge Community First Responders (FCFR) and £1,500 was raised for their funds!

Over 700 beautiful puzzles were made by old and very young across the area, plus as far afield as Kent, Sheffield, Devon and Pembrokeshire. They were on display and for sale as part of the three-day event.

The Festival was a hugely successful community event with nearly 700 adults and children coming along to buy well over 700 made up puzzles, and hundreds more unmade and brand-new puzzles as well!

Organisers Viv Finch and Judith Dowsett said, “We are absolutely delighted with the £1,500 raised at the Jigsaw Puzzle Festival held at St Mary’s Church Fordingbridge. This has been donated to Fordingbridge Community First Responders to support their new liveried car or other much needed equipment. Many thanks to every who contributed to the success of the Festival. Watch out for news of the next one which will be in February 2021!”

Andy came along to collect the cheque and was able to tell Viv and Judith about the vital work that First Responders do in the local community and he expressed thanks for the donation on behalf of South Central Ambulance Service.
