BCM Children & Youth
BCM is a lay training programme focused on enabling church members to live missionally in every part of their lives, equipping them to live out their vocation to the full.It is not an academic training programme, instead through participating in the programme, we believe God will shape you for your place in his mission. If you successfully met the programme requirements, you will be commissioned by the Bishop of Winchester at the annual Lay Ministries Service at Winchester Cathedral for a BCM role within your benefice as agreed between you and your incumbent.
- BCM Youth & Children: This is primarily for those who are leading any form of youth or children’s ministry in the church. The training will explore faith development in children and provide you with a range of creative ideas for building a strong ministry team.
Training Dates are :
- 11th September 9.30am - 12.30pm, in person at St Barnabas, Weeke, Winchester.
- Six sessions online on Wednesday evenings 7pm - 8.30pm on 22nd September, 6th and 20th October, 3rd and 17th November and 1st December.
- Final session in person at Wolvesey Winchester, Saturday 4th December 9.30am - 12.30pm.
