Mission-shaped Church? What do we mean?
Our diocese is experiencing fundamental change as we implement the strategic priorities. How do we understand the theology behind these changes? How does missiology, ecclesiology and ecclesial polity relate to what we doing on the frontline of mission? How does ‘church’ both help and hinder the coming of God’s Kingdom?
Facilitated by Canon Mark Collinson, these two seminars will summarise the past 100 years of the relationship between mission and ecclesiology and provide a framework for a contemporary missional ecclesiology. Pre-reading will be provided and time to relate our praxis to theology. Session 2 won’t make sense unless you come also to session 1.
