Church Administrator – Highfield Church

Highfield Church is a thriving evangelical and charismatic Anglican Church, and you can be the person who can help them fulfil God’s vision for their community by keeping them organised and structured with their administration. It’s a vital role on the front line and you’ll be a critical part of the team.

You’ll be the point of contact for the church family and for everyone else engaging with the church and centre. You’ll manage enquiries, support the Operations Manager with bookings and invoicing and support the administration for crucial life events. You’ll also work with the Treasurer to process transactions on Xero and you’ll help the Safeguarding Officer with volunteer admin.

You’ll need to demonstrate the following:

  • Good with numbers and IT
  • Communication is a strength
  • Comfortable both in a team and working on your own
  • Warm and friendly, calm and approachable
  • Accurate and an eye for detail
  • Able to prioritise, be organised and efficient 

Highfield Church is offering a salary of £21,840 per annum (£12p/h), as well as a 9% contributory pension scheme, great holiday allowance and relevant training and development opportunities. This role is offered on a permanent basis and is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Highfield Church are open to some hours being worked from home, but the clear majority of the role will be based on site.  They are also open to applications from those who would be interested in working part-time, possibly as part of a job share.  Please ensure you indicate your preference/availability within the additional information section of the application form.
