Marketplace - Resourcing your Families, Children and Youth ministry

Marketplace is back! The idea is that we bring together, under one roof, several agencies who resource children's, families and youth work.  They bring display stands and conduct seminars which you can choose to attend. With unlimited tea and coffee and the chance to network and to pick the brains of the experts, the feedback from people attending is that our previous events in 2011 and 2012 have been popular and useful.

The next Marketplace will take place on Saturday 15 June 2013, 9.30am to 2.30pm
Where? St Paul's Church, Oak Road, Pilands Wood, Bursledon SO31 8DT
Cost: Free of charge to include unlimited tea/coffee/biscuits but please bring a packed lunch

As well as our own experts, we've arranged for 8 outside agencies to come:

  • Amaze
  • ROOTs on the web
  • Frontier Youth Trust
  • Messy Church
  • Godly Play
  • Youth for Christ
  • Scripture Union
  • Centre for Youth Ministry
  • The Diocesan Safeguarding Officer

As well as picking the brains of all these people, you'll be able to choose 3 from a possible 9 seminars to attend. Click here for a full timetable of what's on offer, and when.

Plus...

  • a CLC bookstall
  • a display of goods/books you can hire/buy from the Resources Room at Winchester Cathedral
  • youth, children and family ministry surgeries
  • network cafe to pick brains over good coffee - Pete, Andy and Jane Fisher (Diocesan Safeguarding Director) will be there all day to answer your questions
