Budget Consultations
The timetable for the preparation, consultation on, and approval of, our Diocesan Synod Budget has recently been updated in order that the Synod might approve it at its May meeting in the year before it becomes effective. This is about five months earlier than the old timetable and allows for more certainty in the setting of Parish Shares over the summer.
As a result, the annual budget consultations took place in March 2009 and provided an opportunity for deanery and parish officers to have input in to the budget for 2010. The budget consultation document has been circulated following its approval as a draft by the Bishop’s Council and Standing Committee. It can be found on the The Budget page by clicking here.
