Light Parties offer alternatives to Halloween

Halloween can be a distressing time for many, particularly children and vulnerable people. The shops can be full of scary products, which at the same time can be seemingly attractive and frightening to children and cause concern for families.
Every year there are reports of anti-social behaviour associated with Halloween. The church and other groups offer alternatives to Halloween celebrations including Light Parties, which can provide a safe and positive experience for the children and young people.
