Sign up online NOW for two pioneering events!
4 July 2012
BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN for representatives of parishes/benefices in the Diocese of Winchester to sign up to two important events, designed to save hours of time, and help grow planned giving.
Parish Giving Scheme
The brand new Parish Giving Scheme, warmly commended by the Bishop of Winchester, is a highly efficient system for helping churches with their planned giving. It works by collecting gifts from donors by Direct Debit, automatically adding the Gift Aid if appropriate, and then remits the gross amount to the local church. It also gives the option for donors to index-link their contributions so that they match inflation.
Parishes are reminded to book their places on the launch events happening on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 September by clicking here.
Church Resources Fayre
Have you ever thought how useful it would be to have a one-stop-shop for all your church resourcing needs?
Insurance; building maintenance; office costs and utilities are hardly the most exciting areas of Church life, and nobody wants to spend more time on them than is absolutely necessary. To this end, the Church Resources Fayre will give you the opportunity to tick off all these boxes in just one two-hour visit.
Stallholders will include Parish Buying, Church House Publishing, SafeLincs and Ecclesiastical
Entry is strictly by ticket only though, so book early to avoid disappointment!
