Open twice a week, the Resources Room is a joint venture between Winchester Cathedral and The Diocese of Winchester, holding a rich selection of faith-related books, artefacts, DVDs, posters and Godly Play sets that you can look at free of charge or borrow for a modest fee. 

Churches, schools and individuals seeking educational resources to help explore Christianity in an exciting and engaging way will find the collection valuable and supportive. There is a  huge array of resources on offer. 

William Cole, our Resources Room Co-ordinator has years of experience working with the collection and is always happy to help guide you towards the most suitable resources for you.

Usage 

You are welcome to view any of our materials free of charge.  

One-off fees for items are:

Books £3.00 each

Artefacts £5.00 each

Godly Play kits £6.00 each

 

Annual subscriptions are also available:

£15.00 (excluding Godly Play sets)

£40.00 (including Godly Play sets)

 

 

Where

Conveniently located at Winchester Cathedral, you can find us at the Sykes Room on the first floor of our Education Centre in the Cathedral’s Inner Close.
 
The Resources Room is open Monday & Fridays, 9.30am-5pm (closed 1.15-1.45pm). 
 
Can’t make it over?  We offer an efficient mail order service for all books.
