Heritage and Lottery Fund Learning Officer
circa £28,000 per annum
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
To work closely with the Director of Learning, Volunteer Children’s Guides and freelancers to enhance and extend the learning opportunities at Winchester Cathedral provided by the Heritage Lottery funded Kings and Scribes project. You will be given the opportunity to develop, manage and deliver imaginative learning activities and sessions for schools (from primary to sixth formers) relating specifically to the Kings and Scribes stories. This is a great opportunity with a wide range of resposibilities.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally have a professional teaching qualification. You will also have good analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as experience of developing and delivering high quality programmes in a learning environment. An ability to inspire and positively engage a range of learner groups

Children and Families Worker

We are seeking a committed Christian for this role (new to this parish) to engage with the local community and its schools, and to find new ways of connecting with families – in effect to be a Children and Families Missioner. We want to support families and enable them to connect with the Good News of Jesus, while also developing further the existing children’s ministry at the Priory, and initiating new provision at St George’s.
